Run the custom-order desk for your furniture and millwork shop

Evos operators take a dealer order from intake through scheduling, material, and white-glove delivery, working inside the systems your shop already runs on. They go live in 24 hours, no rip-and-replace.

The reality

Every custom order is a one-off, and the office is the bottleneck — not the floor.

A trade dealer emails an order for 22 pieces in a specific stain. A CSR keys it in, quotes a lead time off gut feel, and a day later the dealer changes the stain. Now someone has to catch it before the parts are cut, re-issue the shop drawing, update the system, and tell the planner. The planner is rebuilding the cut-list batch and finish-room schedule by hand every morning, working around a rush order that just landed and a lumber grade that came up short. Purchasing is chasing the alternate stock so the job does not stall. By the time it ships, shipping is on the phone rebooking a white-glove carrier that missed its window and filing a damage claim on the last load.

The whole desk runs on email, spreadsheets, and the few people who hold the order history in their heads. None of it is hard work — it is constant, exception-heavy, and it never stops. The only way this shop has ever handled more orders is more office headcount, and good schedulers and CSRs who know the product are the hardest seats to fill.

The after

Orders go in clean, the schedule rebuilds itself, and material is there when the job is.

The custom-order desk runs end to end on your own systems. Intake, change orders, scheduling, purchasing, and delivery move without a person babysitting each step.

  • Change orders caught and re-issued before parts are cut, not after
  • The daily job sequence and finish-room schedule built without a planner rebuilding it by hand each morning
  • Material on the floor for every job, and white-glove deliveries inside the promised window
